Jack, this is one of my 3 pups retrieving a little dive toy that the boys use in the swimming pool. The other two pups do just as well.

I got the above emal and video clip also from Pat Evans of his 12 week old pup retrieving.
They look good Pat. You are doing a good job having them barking on hang ups and retrieving at 12 weeks old.

I sold Bowpro a couple pups a couple years back. Anyway he sends me this clip of one of the pups treeing a hang up at 12 weeks old. Which isn't uncommon for these dogs. CAn you hear it now Pat?

I had to go in to town this morning and when I got back around 10 Am I loaded up Aqua and carried her to the woods for a short hunt. Right out the tail gate she went about 50 yds and fell treed up a white oak.

I spotted him and shot it out. I have never been able to get Aqua to retrieve a squirrel for me. But this was it. It wasn't the greatest but it is a good start. Here is the clip.

Hunted on for about another hour and Aqua treed 3 more times and I saw and shot a 2 of them as she was timbering them to a hole.

I let Aqua down on the shooting but here she is with her prize

Took the girls tonight made about 5 trees most were dens the other ones I couldn't find there were about 10 trees together who know where they were! Saw a bald eagle coming out of the woods took a pic. it's not the best had my cheaper camera. They treed the heck out of them tonight that Cinders is like a beagle always has her nose to the ground I'm liking her alot she just needs a little more time!
