Brenda Moore had her husband a Christmas puppy booked but the dog didn't come through and have pups. With the lack of squirrels to train my Princess X Bigun pups with here locally I decided to offer the Moores one of the pup[s I was going to keep fro my own personal use. Hes a dandy acting pup and squirrel crazy. I wish them the best with this pup

Gunner and Hillery
My Nephew Gunner Slone made the KY ALL-State foot ball team. He is 6' 1 1/2" tall and weighs in at 230 lbs and in the 8 th grade. For KY he is a starter and played defensive end and linebacker. Saturday at Louisville KY his team played Tennessee and defeated them by a score of 48-0. Gunner had 3 big hits that game. A lot of former NFL players sons were on that team. Sunday Gunners team faced off against Louisville. A team that won a 7 0n 7 title. KY was up on Louisville 16 to 6 at half time. Louisville came out and scored once and KY countered with a score. Louisville scored again. Louisville kicked a off side kick and got the ball back. a questionable bad call by the refs. Louisville started marching the ball up the field into KY territory. With 45 clicks left on the clock 3rd down and the pig skin resting on KY's 7 yd line the Louisville QB went for a pass for the win. Sorry about your luck MR. Louisville QB because My Nephew big number 94 Gunner Slone was there to sack your butt. KY advances with a score of 28 to 21. Next stop will be Atlanta Georgia. If the come out of Atlanta. Ever who comes out of Atlanta will be going to Houston TX for the national title. We're very proud of you Gunner!!!! First pic is of Gunner and his twin sister Hillery wearing the blue proud

Omega retrieving a squirrel
DSCN0824 a video by lindakaybuckley on Flickr.
I thought I would treat myself to a lil day after birthday hunt this morning. So I loaded up some dogs and hit the dusty trail.
Omega and his momma Aqua had this squack treed but it bailed out about 50 yds up the side of the hill so I didn't get time to take a pic of them tag teaming the tree. I did get this clip of Omega retrieving it back for me. Just can't elaborate how important that is for this fat lazy man here in these mule faced hills.
omega-hunt-10-23-12
The dogs ended up treeing 12 times. I looked at 7 but only bagged 4. The funniest thing happened while I was taking this pic of omega standing proud above his mom and pop on the tailgate. Just as soon as I snapped this pic he jumped of the back of the truck and charged over the hill and treed a squirrel. I saw the squirrel run up the oak he was treeing up but after I go my gun and got in range I never could get him to show himself again.
