Cad Weisman and his lovely family drove down today from huntingburg, Indiana and picked up their new black and white natural bob tail Buckley Mountain Feist puppy out of Dot X Bigun.

Amanda and her husband Ron Bartlett of Bloomington Indiana drove down to Hazard and spent the the night before driving here this morning and picking up their Nice White with red head female Buckley Mountain Feist puppy.

Dot & Bigun Mountain Feist pups
Took this pic of DOT X BIGUN pups tonight napping after feed time. They are fatter than pigs and if you look at how nasty they are they act like pigs rolling in the food bowel. They are 4 weeks old now and soon will be going to their new homes. We;ll sure miss these lil dudes.

Breakfast
I brought momma squirrel dog Dot in for the pups so the pups could have a early breakfast. This was the 1st night the pups have been away from her. Looked like her utters were going to pop with milk. She not only a good lil squack dog she is a real reproducer and she is one dandy good little momma dog.
After pups drained her dry I mixed them up some warm goat re placer milk for desert

Baby Squirrel dogs
Well EM my puppy handler is very happy and I'm sure Dots pups are as well. We brought them in the house and now they will only get to see momma twice a day. I'm thinking they are about to get a good spoiling put on them.
With it calling to get down around 8 above tonight if one crawled out of Dots box they would be a popsicle pretty fast

Been kind of under the weater and a little late of posting this updated picture of Dots MOUNTAIN FEIST PUPS. All this litter is booked and it won't be long until we start calling the owners of these future SQUIRREL DOGs. Letting them know which is theirs.

Here is Boots and Taz MOUNTAIN FEIST PUPS at one day old. We well doc what tails need to be docked in a couple days ant which time wel'll sex them and post new pics. I bet there are some SQUIRREL DOGS in this litter.

Boots pups at 2:05 AM 1st day
Very cold here. Tosty 90 degrees in Boots nest. 2:05 AM got up got dressed and went out to the dog kennel and checked on Boots puppies. Have made sure all them nursed. All is well with them all so far.

Boots X Taz pups are here
Dag-gone. Just went out checked on the Boots little dudes and there are now 7 of them laying there. I will report there are a couple that looks like Boots, at least one B&T, couple looks to be choc & tan, a couple white with red trim and 1 white with black trim. I did see some bob tails crawling around in the nest also.
They seem to be doing fine so far. After raising many litters of puppies the 1st 3 days seems to be the time most generally if one isn't going to make it it will die. But I have lost them up to 4 weeks old during cold weather. One will be a hold of mommas utter and get drug out of the box sometimes. I have people calling and emailing me already wanting to know which pup is theirs. I ask them to show patience for a few weeks and lets see if they all make it.
I will doc tails, decipher sex and take pics in 2 to 3 days.
I also plan to get some updated pics of Dots pups on also. All 5 of these lil guys are doing great. Be patient with me on this litter also. Still haven't put any of them in homes yet. Bad weater and anything can go wrong. Would hate to promise someone on top of the list and get drug out of the nest and freeze.
