Ky mtn feist
This Blonde male Ky squirrel dog Feist pup out of Dot & Yellow Mountan Copper will be heading to his new home in Manchester, Kentucky. Mark Dezarn and his family drove up from Clay county this morning and picked up their pup. While here Mark discussed booking another female pup and becoming a mountain Feist breeder. That sounds great Mark. Look forward seeing some reports back from this puppy soon.

Kip Wells and his daughter Kaylie drove up this afternoon from Jackson County ( Annville) KY this afternoon and picked up their future black and white natural bob tail Kentucky Mountain Feist Squirrel dog puppy out of Dot & Yellow mountain Copper.. Well I know theses old dogs ( DOT & ZOEY) do not need any easy squirrels set up for them but I showed them the tube for their 1st and last time today. They have been up with pups on them for about 3 months. So today I moved them on the Zip lines for a little long due exercise but before I I hooked them up I took them to see the tube. These old gals went nuts as you can see. I'll let them run on the ZIP lines about a week and take them to the woods and let them get after the wild squacks.
Louisiana Treeing Feist
Two pups heading to Kinder Louisiana. Randy Savant drove over 30 hours here to pick up these future Louisiana squirrel dog pups. While up here his family and he took a mini vacation and stayed at the beautiful Jenny Wiley State park 30 miles east of me in Prestonsburg, KY.
Randy is holding in his right hand his red white female Mountain Feist pup out of Zoey and Joe Black. In his left hand he is holding a red and white male Mountain Treeing Feist pup out of Bunny and Bigun. Randy id taking this pup to his buddy Mike Labuff also of Kinder Louisiana. This makes two pups Mr Labuff now owns from our kennel. The other is a Black and White female out of Snowflake and Taz... Good luck with guys, Randy have a save trip back home.

These two Georgia treeing feist pups (white and black female Zoey X Joe Black)( Black Male Dot X Yellow Mountain Copper) are headed to Brian Ivester of Young Harris Georgia today. Brian had his friend pick them up for him.

Boots and Bigun pups
These pups are grand pups to the Joe Black Feist.
They are now 3 1/2 weeks old and eating great. I have been feeding them puppy chow miked and soaked in goats replacer milk. The pups love it and it seems to work great.

Jack, here are a couple pics of Kate at four months of age on the top of a dog house for a large dog. Her companion buck sleeps on the top of his dog house.So, monkey see monkey do.lol I took her yesterday to the swamp and she hunts out good for a five month old pup.I saw her winding something and she took off not too far from me and wheeled around smell up and barked. Just instinct.She has never been introduced to squirrel yet. I think at this pace I will just take her hunting when the time comes. I will keep you updated. mike

Been doing some more work on the new kennel. Sealed and painted the inside block and painted the floor with Rust-Oleum epoxy with paint chips.

Built several shelves Plumed it with 12 PVC, put in a mini hot water tank and put in a sink to wash water bowels and feed pans in. It may also come in handy for cleaning squirrels in. We also have our doggie bath up and running. Added a hose reel with hose so I can raise windows to wash out runs. And installed a telephone

Put in a surge protector dock with 10 outlets to keep all my collars charged. And added a table and a couple chairs

snake-bite dog
IB called me to come and get a mess of green beans and new potatoes. When coming back home I checked on the dogs I have tied out on zip lines.
I looked and saw LT all swollen up.
I looked and the culprit didn't get far. She had killed this copper head and here he laid
She is now laying under the AC and I gave her a dose of Benedryl.........

THEY HAVE CHASED LIVE SQUIRREL ON THE GROUND TO TREE, THIS IS A DEAD SQUIRREL I DRUG ON THE GROUND THEN HUNG IN THE TREE, THE PUPS DID NOT SEE ME DO THIS. I THEN TURNED THE PUPS LOOSE WALK THEM TOWARD THIS AREA & THIS IS WHAT THEY FOUND AFTER TRACKING TO THE TREE. ALSO AS I WAS TAKING THESE PHOTOS I HAD MY 22 PISTOL IN HAND FIRED 6 TIMES. THEY STAYED WITH THERE BUSINESS AT HAND. HOPE YOUR DOING FINE JACK, JUST WANTED TO GIVE YOU A UPDATE . SEE ATTACHED PICTURES.

coon invasion
Been having a rough time keeping corn in my feeder. Set up the trail cam to see who was the culprit. After 24 hours no deer, no squirrel but a undetermined number of coon.

Stub
Got up this morning and went picking a few black berries for breakfast. Took my 7 month old pups Stubby alone for snake protection and woe and behold he treed himself a couple wild squirrels.
