Took a lil trip
My son, daughter-in-law and grand kids came up yesterday to take a trail ride. We had a great time until my son got his Yamaha 660 Grisly stuck. That’s when I tried to winch him out and buried my rhino right in the middle of the creek. After calling kevinC to bring a shovel and a large red devil we winched it out and was home by 1:30 AM. I took a pic of us being stuck but it didn’t take.

Took Princess & Taz out for a short hot run this afternoon. These squirrel dogs treed three times and I saw all three of them. The dogs timbered all of them to the den.

Louan treed her first solo kill this morning. She has tree some but this is the first one she treed by herself that I could shoot. They sure are hard to find this time of year. Louan will be 10 months tomorrow.

Em practicing up safety and her marksmanship on her BB gun. I plan on her shooting her scoped 22 soon.
Boots & splints
Our lil 11 week old Boots ( Princess X Joe Black) pup went missing Friday afternoon and never reappeared until Saturday afternoon. When she did show back up she was in a mess. A cuts all over her legs and belly. She couldn’t stand up, walk or crawl. After a trip to our vet and some x-rays we found out both her left legs were broken. The vet splint them up and she is already standing and walking a little. I sure hope she recovers and don’t affect her hunting. She is smart as a tack. Em has her speaking on command and retrieving already.
